CRI(SP)SE and CRI(SP)ME are instructor ratings for single-pilot aeroplane classes.

CRI(SP)SE and CRI(SP)ME are instructor ratings for single-pilot aeroplane classes.

  • CRI(SP)SE – instructor rating for single-pilot single-engine piston aeroplanes (SEP(L)),
  • CRI(SP)ME – instructor rating for single-pilot multi-engine piston land aeroplanes (MEP(L)).

These ratings authorise the holder to instruct pilots within the relevant aircraft class – either on single-engine or multi-engine piston aeroplanes, depending on the qualification held.
